She’s the ultra-glam reality TV princess with a budding career in fashion design, but Erin Bateman has revealed she will be car-less as she embarks on life after Married At First Sight.
The 25-year-old has taken to Instagram to reveal she has lost her licence for six months after a series of ‘stupid decisions’.
She captioned a new photo: ‘When I was younger I made a lot of stupid decisions and never truly understood the consequences of my actions. Today all of my stupidity has caught up with me, and what has been 3 years of mistakes in the making has resulted in me losing my drivers license for 6 months.’
She continued: ‘Although now I understand the importance of acting responsibly behind the wheel of a car, the reality is this could have been a VERY different outcome. All I can say is how ashamed I am that as a young adult I didn’t put my own safety and the safety of others before “getting somewhere fast” and today I pay the price for that.
‘I’m not going to fight this, make excuses or even complain, I’m going to wear it and learn.
