Theirs is the love story that shocked Australia and sparked outrage among reality TV viewers on the current season of Married At First Sight, but shocking new claims allege Dan Webb and Jessika Power’s relationship has been faked from the outset.
Despite couples interviews, posed photos and joint red carpet appearances months after filming wrapped for the social experiment, one of their MAFS co-stars is saying the whole adulterous affair was staged to remain on the show.
Fan favourite Jules Robinson – who delighted Australia by getting engaged to her TV love Cameron Merchant – told E! News that blonde bombshell Jess plotted her romance with Dan on purpose after her advances were rejected by Nic Jovanovic.
“I’m sorry Jess, but if it wasn’t Nic it was going to be someone else.
“He denied you, so you moved on. That’s the bottom line,” Jules declared.
The fiery redhead went on to say she didn’t believe Jess and Dan’s relationship would last, and admitted she didn’t even know if they are currently an item because she is “not friends with them”.
Ouch! See what else Jules had to say about Jessika here..
Jules also said she doesn’t believe there is anything more than physical attraction between the cheating duo, but despite her comments both Jess and Dan maintain they are happier than ever together.
Speaking to WHO magazine, Dan went as far as to say he hasn’t felt this way about a woman since his relationship with the mother of his son.
“I haven’t felt strongly about a girl since my split with my ex. She was the last person to make me feel amazing,” he admitted.
