According to Radar Online, the star – who is reported to be worth US$520 million – a source saw the whole cringe-worthy incident.
‘When it happened at Louis Vuitton she thought it was a fluke. But when it happened three more times she was embarrassed and humiliated,’ spilled the unnamed witness.
Trying her best to brush off the incident, the 47-year-old apparently rushed off to the nearest ATM to withdraw cash.
‘They ended up paying cash… she returned with an assistant and her manager Stella [Bulochnikov], who made a total scene.’
And this isn’t Mariah’s only money problem. The singer is currently tangled up in costly legal drama with a South American concert promoter over cancelled shows – reportedly due to late payments.
‘Mariah is blaming her manager for the cancellations, postponement and low ticket sales of her tour with Lionel Richie. She’s also had bad press and business deals. Stella keeps saying everything is going to be all right, but it’s not,’ explained a source.
