Maria Venuti has filled her family with hope for her rehabilitation from a stroke.
The star returned home for a visit to attend her daughter Bianca’s 37th birthday celebrations on New Year’s Day.
‘I was so excited to have mum home and to be able to share special birthday celebrations together despite everything,’ Bianca told The Daily Telegraph.
‘We are definitely remaining optimistic while still realistic about mum’s recovery in 2017. “I’m looking forward to sharing many more beautiful moments together.’
The 75-year-old suffered a stroke in her Sydney home after a stalker confronted her at her front door on November 5 last year.
Maria was moved to rehab at the end of last month.
