Controversial reality series, Married At First Sight is on its way to New Zealand.
“Married at First Sight is the show that has been on everyone’s lips for 2017 and we are really excited to be producing New Zealand’s first series of this hit show,” said Mediaworks CCO Andrew Szusterman.
“Applications are open to New Zealand citizens and permanent residents aged 25+, from any background, ethnicity and sexual orientation.”
The announcement pointed out that the Australian version of the series was Channel Nine’s “highest rated international program of 2017.”
The New Zealand adaptation is looking for singles who are “tired of swiping left and want to find their perfect match.”
“This ground breaking social experiment wants to help New Zealand singles find their potential lifelong partner using the science of matchmaking.”
