Speaking exclusively to New Idea, the mother-of-one says she needed police to intervene when
a stalker got her phone number.

“Just last weekend I had to go to the police because this lady kept calling me and harassing me. It still goes on to this day. Just because I did a reality show doesn’t mean I deserve this. It keeps happening in my life,” Tracey confesses

“The police actually called her. The reason she kept calling me was because she lost her parents to cancer last year – that’s her reason. And she was taking their hurt and upset out on me. The police gave her a warning to stop contacting me or she could be charged with harassment and stalking.”

Tracey starred on the controversial reality show in 2018 and was the centre of a media firestorm due to her ‘husband’ Dean Wells’ ‘affair’ with Davina Rankin.

She says the producers of MAFS didn’t prepare her for the endless publicity and constant bullying on social media, which has taken an extraordinary toll on her mental health.

“Before doing MAFS, I hadn’t experienced anxiety or depression at all. And it wasn’t until it started airing on television – that was what took a mental toll on me because I just wasn’t prepared for that. I didn’t feel prepared by the producers for that either,” Tracey, who also spoke to Sunday Night, says.

“[The producers] tell us they’re here for us and that they’ll help with social media, but they don’t do anything. All of it has happened because of the show, so they do have a responsibility to look after us. And they don’t.”
