Married At First Sight’s Anthony Manton has slammed the show for wrongfully painting him as the ‘villain.’
‘Anyone who watches those reality shows and thinks they are real must still believe in the tooth fairy,’ Anthony told his TAB radio employers in a phone interview.
‘There’s so much stuff that is edited out,’ reported The Daily Telegraph. ‘In my case, there needs to be a villain in these shows, and I happen to be it on Married At First Sight.’
The 33-year-old went on to explain the producer’s careful editing during his hometown stay with wife Nadia.
‘We had some great moments — and what do they play? Me blowing up about my Wi-Fi connection.’
At last week’s group dinner party, Cheryl was bought to tears after Anthony dubbed her an ‘idiot’ for returning to the experiment with jilted groom, Andrew.
Anthony later apologised to Cheryl for his comments, admitting he crossed the line.
