It was just days ago that Married At First Sight favourites Simon and Alene shocked fans with the news they were calling time on their relationship.
But despite claiming the split was a “difficult decision” the Queenslander has seemingly wasted no time in getting back on the dating scene.
Simon was rumoured to have been spotted on notorious hook-up app Tinder this week, with viewers of the show quick to call out the 37-year-old for moving on so quickly.
Still in disbelief over the sudden break-up, many took to his Instagram account to let their wrath be known.
“Already on Tinder hey? Classy,” one user penned on a video post.
“You won’t find another Alene Simon, trust me my love… this is wrong… u guys r wrong I’m sorry to say this but it’s not right,” wrote another.
Despite their attempts to make it work with nurse Alene based in Sydney, the pair had struggled with their long-distance relationship in recent months.
“It was a difficult decision but we have decided to part ways,” the couple told TheFIX in a joint statement.
“We remain the greatest of friends and we will continue to be part of each others’ lives. We thank you for your privacy at this time.”
