At last! New Idea can exclusively reveal that Anthony and Nadia’s rocky relationship ended shortly after they renewed their vows in front of the cameras.
But even more shockingly, the stunning air hostess is now finding comfort in the most unlikely of places!
She is leaning heavily on a fellow contestant, stripper Michael, who is helping her through the heartbreak. The pair have become more than just friends.
‘Nadia was very surprised when Michael reached out and offered a shoulder to cry on,’ says a friend.
‘She hadn’t got to know him well on the show, but recently they have become close, and she loves how caring and sensitive he is.’
It was during filming on the show’s reunion episode, which is set to air later this week, that the confused bride plucked up the courage to confront her TV ex-husband and demand answers.
With no phone calls or any explanation as to what went wrong, she wanted closure, but when the conversation ended in tears, it was Michael who rushed to her side.
‘Michael hadn’t had the best experience on the show either, so he knew how hard it was to go through a difficult time in front of the cameras,’ says the friend. ‘He always had a soft spot for Nadia, and hated seeing her so distraught – he wanted to show her that he cared.’
But it’s not all bad news for Nadia. She is said to be determined to gain something from the entire experience, leveraging her popularity to launch a television career.
Promoting everything from bikinis to ice-cream via her Instagram account, the part-time model is said to be raking in extra cash from advertising plugs. ‘She has a watch deal, a beauty product arrangement, plugs various clothing ranges, venues and everything in between,’ says the friend.
