Married At First Sight’s Sam has already faced his fair share of controversy after leaving his new bride to travel to New Zealand to attend his ex-girlfriend’s mother’s funeral shortly after the wedding, as well as reports that the 26-year-old tradie leaves Elizabeth for the ice queen herself, Ines Basic.

But it seems that the drama is not set to slow down, as Sam confessed this morning that there’s going to be ‘a lot of drama’ in the coming weeks.
Speaking with Fitzy & Wippa on Nova96.9, Sam insinuated his new bride is not exactly his cup of tea when co-host Sarah McGilvray asked: “Are you disappointed that you’re stuck with Elizabeth? Because you guys clearly have zero attraction to each other?”
Sam revealed that despite his grumblings at the wedding and leaving her on their honeymoon, he is not disappointed: “I’m not disappointed, you get what you get, Elizabeth’s a lovely girl and we got to try and find that mental connection and see if there’s something there.”
However, the radio host continued to grill the groom, asking: “You made so many nasty comments about how Elizabeth looks at the wedding.”
Sam explained that his comments about Elizabeth’s weight had been ‘taking out of context’
“I think that got taken out of context a bit,” Sam said, “Elizabeth is a beautiful girl.”
Host Wippa indirectly asked Sam about the rumours he leaves his store manager bride for legal assistant, Ines.
“Would you consider doing the wife swap?” Fitzy asked.
Sam coyly replied: “It depends on the time and place.”
However, McGilvray got straight to the point, asking: “So you do hook up with Ines, is that right?”
Sam responded with a rather harsh comment about the Bosnian born brunette: “Oh she was keen last night it was a bit embarrassing,” before adding, “Martha would be lovely.”
As for what’s in store for MAFS fans, Sam teased: “I can’t say too much but I think there’s going to be a lot of fireworks and a lot of drama…its going to be full on.”
