Earlier this week the rumour mill was rife with speculation that loved-up Married At First Sight stars Nick and Sharon were expecting.
Now, just days after the blonde beauty was spotted shopping for baby clothes in Perth, the couple have confirmed the exciting news.
“I can’t give too much away,” Nick told an Aussie tabloid before adding that he was “head over heels in love” with his on-screen wife.
But while Sharon refrained from elaborating further on the pregnancy, she did reveal that she couldn’t wait to be a mother.
“I’m definitely at that stage in my life [where] I would like to start a family and have a legal marriage soon,” the 32-year-old said.
She also confessed that she hopes to have twins while her 29-year-old beau is holding out for “two or three kids down the line.”
Fans of the show watched on as the smitten pair’s relationship continued to thrive.
But despite only being together for a few short months, a friend of the couple says the timing couldn’t be more perfect for them to take the next big step.
“Nick has a lot of qualities that Sharon loves, but his calm demeanor and thoughtfulness are both things she sees as great dad attributes,” the source told New idea.
“He loves the outdoors too, and she always pictured herself having big family camping trips one day.”
“She can’t believe it’s happening!”
