She’s fresh from an emotional split with doting husband Jesse, but that hasn’t stopped Married At First Sight ’s Michelle from moving on – fast!
Spotted enjoying a day out in Melbourne, the heartbreaker joined her twin sister Sharon and her TV husband Nick – along with season two MAFS star Jono Pitman.
In New Idea’s exclusive photographs, Michelle and Jono appear perfectly at ease with each other, sporting matching ripped jeans and walking side by side, engrossed in deep conversation for most of the day.
The flirty foursome all seemed to be having a good time, and later continued the low-key day out with drinks at the Ponyfish Island bar on the Yarra, where 28-year-old Jono couldn’t take his eyes off Michelle as she giggled and played with her hair.
Telling friends that Jono is more ‘her type of man’ than Jesse, Michelle also admitted previously she could never see herself working in Jesse’s family-run fruit and veg shop. Also, Michelle joked that Jono was ‘the right height for me’ compared to the shorter Jesse.
Jono has openly spoken of how he regrets having ever laid eyes upon his former ‘bride’ Clare Verrall. They had a tumultuous relationship, with Jono famously declaring she ‘wasn’t what I ordered’.
According to several sources, the hot new couple enjoyed various dates during Michelle’s trip to Melbourne and were spotted on more than one occasion canoodling in public.
While it is unknown how long the blonde and the hunky tradie have known each other, sources suggest that carpenter Nick may have played Cupid. ‘Nick and Jono have been friends for some time,’ reveals a well-placed insider.
