Earlier this week Married At First Sight viewers were rocked by the revelation that self-professed spiritual guru Dino Hira had been secretly recording his TV bride Melissa Lucarelli’s private phone conversations.
The scandal marked the end of their reality relationship and prompted widespread debate about what constitutes invasion of privacy in this day and age.
Speaking on Wednesday’s episode of Channel 9’s Talking Married, MAFS bride Martha Kalifatidis was frank about her take on the covertly filming your partner – and made a startling admission of her own.
“Yesterday, Michael came out of the shower and he didn’t have a towel, so he walked into the bedroom with just a T-shirt covering himself.
“I was filming him and he didn’t know!” she revealed, adding her on-screen husband stood naked for five minutes without noticing her recording.
Martha then acknowledged there was a difference between the two scenarios and branded Dino’s actions as “spiteful”.
“In Dino and Mel’s case, I think Dino’s in the wrong,” she told hosts.
“It was coming from a bad place – I think he was doing it to be spiteful or maybe throw it in her face.”
Martha’s comments come days after reports surfaced claiming she and Michael had split.

Chatter began when the Kardashian lookalike stepped out for a night out in Melbourne with MAFS resident villain Ines Basic – without her wedding ring.
A split between Martha and Michael would come as a surprise to fans who’ve seen the couple’s on screen chemistry.
The genetically blessed duo famously enjoyed a “twelve hour sex marathon” after tying the knot on the Channel 9 social experiment.
