On Monday night’s episode of Married At First Sight, new bride Tamara Joy was introduced to the viewers.
As the human resources manager spoke of her wishes to find love and start a family, she broke down in tears as she discussed the tragic death of her mother.
‘My mum met my dad when she was 16, and they were together ever since, right the way until she passed away three years ago. She had motor neurone disease. I watched her deteriorate day by day,’ she said choking back the tears.
‘Her muscles started to die, and…Sorry,’ Tamara continued stopping to hold back more tears.
‘Just watching somebody go through something like that… it just breaks you as a human,’ she said, her voice breaking as she struggled to speak.
‘I’m so sorry,’ Tamara trailed off unable to speak about it any longer.
So sad. We feel for you Tamara!
