New groom Sean was left gobsmacked when his bride Blaire dropped a bombshell during their wedding reception: the 31-year-old was previously married before appearing on the show.
After spotting her tattoo ‘Wifey for lifey’ (the word ‘wifey’ had been crossed out and replaced with ‘burgers’), Sean questioned its meaning.
‘He was like, “What’s this?” and I was like, “Oh f**k”‘, Blair later confessed. ‘He sorted of brushed over it so I was like, “Phew!” Wedding night is not the night to bring up I’ve been married.’
However, later in the night, one of Blair’s bridesmaids let slip her secret to Sean.
‘Oh sh*t,’ was his initial response.
Sean decided to broach the subject with his new bride, who admits their relationship ended because she was cheated on.
Sean also confessed to having been cheated on in the past, allowing the pair to bond over their previous heartaches.
‘Blair has been cheated on in pretty much every relationship she has ever had,’ a friend tells New Idea. ‘She didn’t want Sean to judge her or worse, pity her.’
Since then, her divorce proceedings have progressed through the courts.
