Yesterday Kim Kardashian was slammed about an insensitive tribute post for the Manchester attacks, and now Madonna has been put in the spotlight for the same reason.
The 58-year-old shared a selfie of her and Ariana Grande on Instagram and was accused of being ‘narcissistic’ by fans.
In the post, the singer wrote: ‘Thank Goodness my friend is O’K. Lets all pray for the innocent victims who are not ok. For their families and for Manchester.’
Fans were quick to criticise the star for her ‘egocentric’ post.
‘Such a stupid and egocentric post. Seems most like an excuse to post a selfie than any other concern,’ commented one.
Another shared: ‘This post was so damn unnecessary!!! Think more before you post this kind of s***!!! over the top narcissistic….’
And another wrote: ‘Thank goodness you had a photo with AG to promote yourself… what would have happened if you didn’t ???’
