Madonna has shared a rare photo of all six children, while on a family holiday in Malawi for Thanksgiving.
Madonna captioned the post with some gushing praise of her family, “What I am Most THANKFUL for! My Children have led me down roads and opened doors I never imagined I’d walk through.♥️ Fame , Fortune and Records Broken could never equal that which I treasure and value most. 🙏🏼 #blessed#grateful #children #family 🌍 Happy ThanksGiving from Malawi!”
The Like a Virgin singer is extremely close to her large brood – Lourdes, 22, Rocco 18, David, 13, Mercy, 12 and six-year-old twins Stelle and Estere.
Madonna once faced harsh criticism over her choice to adopt David back in 2006, from the Home of Hope in Malawi, who was battling with pneumonia and malaria at the time.
In an interview with People magazine, Madonna said of the criticism, “In my mind, I was thinking, “Wait a minute. I’m trying to save somebody’s life. Why are you all s****ing on me right now?’ I did everything by the book.”
The pop icon went on to adopt Mercy and the two twins.
