Dalby twins Luke and Cody couldn’t believe their ears when House Rules host Joh Griggs revealed they had won the show.
And while work is the last thing most people would be thinking about after having their entire mortgage paid off, that’s not exactly how down to earth Luke thinks.
‘I’m going back to normal work for the next week or so and then we’ll see what happens,’ he told New Idea.
‘I’m going to work between publicity and stuff. I’ve got to pay bills.’
But savvy brother Cody was quick to interject: ‘What bills have you got now mate?’
Luke – clearly still in shock, replied: ‘Oh yeah! I didn’t think about that!’
While his twin brother returns to work as an electrician, Cody says he’s lapping up a life of luxury now he doesn’t have to pay rent!
‘I’m just tying to enjoy my time now,’ he says.
‘I have free rent which is pretty good so I’ll just be making the most of that!’
