Some emotional moments for Luke Perry fans today, with the late Beverly Hills 90210 and Riverdale star’s daughter Sophie Perry sharing some moving images of the star from her childhood.

The Hollywood star, who played Dylan McKay on 90210, passed in March, aged 52. He was remembered in the Instagram pics, which show the then-new father playing with his daughter, days before US Father’s Day.
Sophie, who recently turned 19, simply captioned one image, ‘I love you.’
The teen recently shared a picture of a tattoo she’s had inked on her wrist, depicting a wild mushroom, which is a tribute to her dad.
Luke was laid to rest in a private ceremony in Tennessee, where he has a farm. He was buried in a biodegradable suit laced with fungal spores, which is claimed to ‘aid in decomposition, work to neutralise toxins found in the body and transfer nutrients to plant life.’
According to Luke’s death certificate, his cause of death was an ‘ischemic cerebrovascular accident.’ Luke suffered a massive stroke on February 27, 2019, in his Los Angeles home.
Us Weekly reports that his family had to make the heartbreaking decision to take him off life support.
‘He never regained consciousness. Things were so dire that they put him under heavy sedation. He was gone, basically, by the time he got to the hospital,’ a source told People magazine.
As well as Sophie, Luke left son Jack and ex-wife Minnie Sharp. He was engaged to fiancee Wendy Madison Bauer.
As well as roles in a number of TV shows, the celeb had just filmed a role in the new Quentin Tarantino film, Once Upon A Time in Hollywood. Co-star Brad Pitt recently paid tribute to the star.
