Most fans of House Rules believe butter wouldn’t melt in the mouths of country lads Luke and Cody – but they aren’t as golden as they seem.
The Queensland pair may have miraculously managed to keep themselves out of conflict for most of the season, but it was that one moment of weakness during the renovation of Claire and Hagan’s Mornington Peninsula home when it all came unstuck!
WA mum-of-three Rose was devastated when she overheard Luke describing her and Rob’s ensuite design as ‘horrendous’.
‘I thought Luke was a genuine guy,’ Rose said at the time.
While the two made up in the end, the boys say the incident has haunted them ever since. ‘We felt like complete ******** after that,’ Cody says.
