All the girls on this season of Love Island may have their eyes on Irish-born Eoghan Murphy ‒ but he hasn’t always been so big and brawny.

The 24-year-old real estate agent has been flaunting his ‘revenge body’ on the Fijian island while still nursing a broken heart.
Speaking with New Idea, Eoghan admits he was still heartbroken after splitting with his girlfriend of eight years, who he had been with since the age of 14.
“We met at school and we were just best mates. Obviously, we had our rough patches and breaks here and there, broke up a few times but nothing more than a week or two weeks,” Eoghan says.
“I’ve learnt to be who I am. It was a horrible time but at the same time, it’s like s–t. I’ve grown so much.”
After the painful break-up, Brisbane-based Eoghan says it took a long time before he was able to move on.
He confesses he was even planning to marry his high-school sweetheart and was only ready to find someone new just a few months ago.
“The plan was to [marry her]. But that ship has sailed,” he says with a shrug.
Eoghan’s eye-watering physique is certainly a talking point in the villa, but unearthed pictures show he looked very different just a few years ago.
In a professional work photograph with short, cropped hair and a suit, and in an old photo in a wrestling pen, Eoghan is almost unrecognisable and looks almost nothing like the buff Greek god Australia sees on television each weeknight.
“Before I was like … skinny, fat and stuff, with short hair. Just no muscle at all,” Eoghan laughs.
“Now I’ve gotten jacked and grown long hair. It’s taken me a year and a half. You could say it is a revenge body!”
But Eoghan’s enviable muscles aren’t the only thing the ladies on the island will be fawning over.
Working in real estate and selling expensive houses could mean the Irish lad is a secret millionaire!
“I sold one for $5 million recently, and another for $6 [million] … 3.3. per cent is our [commission] rate,” Eoghan explains.
“I’m building somewhere at the moment. I just actually moved out of home a couple of months ago; got my own apartment.”
One photograph from Eoghan’s Instagram shows him posing next to a $5.3 million house in Queensland’s Burleigh Heads, where he sold the property for a whopping $1.8 million above the reserve price.
This means Eoghan may have received a cool $174,000 in commission for the sale.
The young business mogul coupled up with blonde beauty Jessie Wynter, 23, after tossing up between her and 19-year-old Cartier. But will they go the distance outside the villa walls?
