Now, 13 years later, Martine McCutcheon has weighed in – pun intended! – on co-star Hugh Grant’s body after the former heartthrob was fat-shamed.

Martine rushed to her onscreen lover’s defence after the 55-year-old copped flack when unflattering shirtless images of him enjoying a beach break were splashed all over the UK tabloids.

Appearing on the British talk show Loose Women, the 40-year-old admitted she was far from turned off by the now portly star.

‘I love my Hugh. He could be 10 stone [63.5kg] bigger than that and I still wouldn’t kick him out of bed!’ she declared.

The mum-of-one then proceeded to go into detail about what a great kisser Hugh was, despite her initial concerns due to the fact she believes that ‘posh boys aren’t very good kissers’.

‘I won’t be mysterious,’ she began. ‘He was fabulous! He is filthy, but he is fabulous.’
