Karl Stefanovic’s Today Show co-host Lisa Wilkinson appears to have taken a pointed swipe at his father Alex, following the elder Stefanovic’s highly revealing interview with New Idea this week.
Suddenly posting a photo on Instagram with Karl and his mother Jenny, from brother Pete’s wedding – which happened a good eight weeks ago – Lisa seemed very keen to paint a very different picture than Alex did.
‘Flashback to Sylvia & Pete’s incredibly happy wedding in April,’ she captioned a photo, from the family event ‘with Karl and his beautiful mum Jenny. All class.’
In an explosive interview, Alex this week tells New Idea of his anger and disappointment with his son, and details his distress at perceived events at the wedding.
‘He’s embarrassed about me because I’m fat, I’m bald and I’m poor,’ says Alex.
