While promoting her David Jones Autumn/Winter 2017 Fashion Launch, Jesinta Franklin appeared on the Today Show where she spoke about her gruelling 14-hour day which left her completely exhausted.
Lisa, confused about what the model was actually doing all day made some interesting comments.
‘What are you doing for 14 hours? Because you’re just kind of wearing clothes and walking,’ Lisa questioned.
Lisa’s co-star, Sylvia Jeffreys immediately cried out, ‘Lisa!’ outraged by her colleagues comments, while Karl shook his head in embarrassment.
Rising above the comments, Jesinta explained to Lisa, 57, that she had commitments with the media, rehearsals and fittings before hitting the catwalk.
‘That is the perception for a lot of models that you put on an outfit and sashay down the runway,’ Jesinta responded. ‘Yesterday I had about 20 media interviews back-to-back, I had hair and make-ip, I had briefings and I had rehearsals.’
Feeling the heat, Lisa quickly turned sympathetic by adding, ‘And getting up in the morning for us!’
