Today Show host Lisa Wilkinson has shared a photo celebrating being free of her fiberglass cast – but all we can see is her radiant make-up free face.
In the photo she proudly shows off her new splint, with a fresh-faced beaming smile, while rugged up on a couch.
‘A pretty skinny forearm and sore puffy wrist in a splint remains, but oh the relief!!!’ she writes.
While on holiday in Italy, the radiant 57-year-old fell in the shower and broke her arm in an injury she told the Huffington Post caused her ‘more agony than I’ve ever felt, outside of childbirth.’
‘I knew the floor was slippery but the moment of falling seemed to take forever,’ she recalls.
‘My mind was in slow-mo – even though my body was in fast-forward – as I calculated just how bad the fall was going to be. I was right. Very bad.’
