It’s taken years of heartache, but Lisa Curry has finally found her happily ever after.
In an exclusive interview with New Idea, the Aussie swim champ has announced her surprise engagement to entertainer and Elvis tribute artist Mark Andrew Tabone after a fairytale whirlwind romance.
Proudly showing off the rose gold engagement ring that Mark designed himself, Lisa, 54, admits she’s the happiest she’s ever been.
‘I’m in my love bubble and no matter what happens or what people say, we are not going to let anyone burst our bubble,’ she tells New Idea. ‘We’re still celebrating, and out of the blue Mark will look at me and ask me to marry him again. He’s so sweet.’
