Lisa Curry could soon be shopping for a wedding outfit – as it looks like her son, Jett, is set to marry his girlfriend Lily Brown.
The couple sparked engagement buzz during their recent Hawaii vacation, but had yet to confirm anything at press time.
Lily did share a romantic Instagram post of her and Jett, 30, in Hawaii with the cryptic caption: “I can’t wait to do this with you forever.”
That post quickly sparked engagement talk, with one fan commenting “I thought this might’ve been an announcement!”
Jett’s mum Lisa, 62, replied to Lily’s sweet post with two love-heart eyes emojis.
“She would love to see Jett walk down the aisle – sooner rather than later,” a source tells New Idea.
“He’s completely smitten by Lily and Lisa thinks they make a perfect couple.”
Jett, who appeared on The Real Full Monty and Australian Ninja Warrior in 2018, Dancing With The Stars in 2019 and SAS Australia in 2021 debuted his relationship with Lily in December 2022, by posting a picture of him and Lily kissing, captioned: “To the future.”
Earlier this year Jett and Lily competed together on The Amazing Race Australia Celebrity Edition.
A family wedding would bring some much-welcomed joy to the Curry/Kenny clan.
In September 2020, Lisa’s eldest child Jaimi Lee passed away, aged 33, after a battle with mental illness.
Lisa shared three children with her ex-husband, former ironman Grant Kenny, including daughter middle daughter Morgan and youngest son Jett.
Lisa is now a proud grandmother to Morgan’s three sons with husband Ryan Gruell, Flynn, Taj and Kit.
In 2018, Lisa married Elvis impersonator Mark Tabone.
“He makes my heart sing,” the former Olympic swimmer said at the time.
“He cares about me, listens to my stories, even if I tell them three times. He laughs at my jokes and fixes anything and everything.”
Clearly Lisa is hoping that Jett has found his soulmate just like she has!
