Major congratulations are in order for the Shannon family!
Taking to Instagram on Monday, Mama June’s 17-year-old daughter, Lauren “Pumpkin” Shannon, announced that she is pregnant with her first child.
“So now that the news is out me and josh are expecting a little one ❤️,” she wrote, alongside a snap of an ultrasound.
“So happy to start this new adventure with him 👶🏻. Love you baby 😘 @josh_efird.”
But while Pumpkin is excited about being a first-time mum, she has admitted that she’s not looking forward to being in the delivery room.
“I’m really nervous about having a baby because it does have to come out of my hoo-ha,” she confessed in a clip for WE TV. “My baby daddy’s head is the size of a freakin’ watermelon.”
She also dished on how she thinks Mama June, 37, will handle being a grandmother for the third time.
“I think mama will be an all right grandma,” she said.
“I mean, she can’t really see but she’ll do good.”
Mama June is the mother of Jessica “Chubs” Shannon, 20, 11-year-old Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, and Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell, 22.
She is also grandmother to Chickadee’s two daughters, Kaitlyn, 5, and 20-month-old Kylee.
