Police were called to Chris Brown’s home after a beauty queen claimed the rapper pointed a gun at her.
Reports say the call resulted in a nine-hour stand off with Brown, 27, barricading himself inside, posting videos on Instagram, while police waited for a search warrant.
Brown surrendered about 1pm, and is co-operating with Los Angeles Police Department officers and investigators, Police said in a press release according to News.com.au.
Miss California Regional 2016 Baylee Curran called 911 about 3am Tuesday.
TMZ reports, while Police waited for a search warrant, Brown threw a bag out the window containing weapons and drugs, shouting ‘come and get me’.
Brown posted videos on Instagram, dismissing reports that he barricaded himself inside.
‘I don’t care. Y’all gonna stop playing with me like I’m the villain out here, like I’m going crazy,’ Brown said in one of the videos.
‘When you get the warrant or whatever you need to do you’re going to walk right up in here and you’re going to see nothing. You idiots.’
Brown was convicted of a felony in the 2009 after he assaulted his then-girlfriend Rihanna.
