Kylie Minogue shocked fans back in February after announcing she and fiancé Joshua Sasse had parted ways – and now the Aussie pop star is finally set to spill the beans on their split.
A source has revealed to The Sun that the 49-year-old has used her heartbreak as material for her upcoming album.
‘Kylie’s album will give fans fly-on-the-wall access to what happened between her and Josh,’ the insider said.
‘She has gone into serious detail on some of the songs and it has helped her make sense of everything.
‘It was obviously a very tough time but throwing herself into music has been an amazing help.
Kylie confirmed the sad news of her split from the British actor in February, posting a heartfelt Instagram message to her fans.
Alongside a picture of a beautiful sunrise, Kylie wrote: ‘#lovers … Thank you for all your love and support throughout this recent chapter of my life.
‘Thank you now for your love and understanding with the news that Josh and I have decided to go our separate ways.
‘We wish only the best for each other as we venture towards new horizons. #thesunalwaysrises’.
Despite Kylie’s instance that they had parted on good terms, sources at the time revealed she had thrown Joshua out of her West London home after he grew too close to Spanish actress Marta Milans
Speaking to The Sun at the time, the source claimed: ‘Since they met, we’ve all been concerned about what Joshua’s intentions were, before revealing he seemed a little too keen to cash in on Kylie’s fame.
‘None of Kylie’s previous partners have ever shown such a keen interest in sharing her spotlight and people saw through it.’
