Kylie Jenner was criticised online after she dressed her one-year-old daughter Stormi Webster in a child-size replica of her 2019 Met Gala outfit for a Halloween costume.

On Sunday the 29th of October, the reality star took to social media to share photos and videos of Stormi in the purple feathery gown (which was almost identical to Kylie’s mermaid-like Versace ensemble).
Though bewildered, Stormi appeared to be Kylie’s mini-me as she accessorised with a lilac feather boa and a purple wig.
“My baby!!!!!!!! i cant handle this!!!!” Kylie wrote in the caption on the Instagram post.

Stormi’s father, Travis Scott commented on the photo with a love heart, while Kylie’s friend Sofia Richie who commented “Omg I can’t deal.”
They weren’t alone, as the 22-year-old’s Instagram post was flooded with gushing comments from followers and celebs.
However, critics also called Kylie “vain” and “creepy” for dressing Stormi up in her Met Gala dress for Halloween.

“She is a young toddler who shoudl be playing with Lego and Play-Doh… not dressing up like an adult. This has been specifically made for her… let her be a child ffs,” wrote one follower.
Another criticised the entire Kardashian-Jenner family by writing:
“I want to say this is beyond weird/bad/inappropriate… But then do we expect anything other than that from this family? Those children are going to be in therapy from the age of ten!”

“She looks like she will be pregnant by 13. Nice Halloween costume mom. Very comfortable,” said another mum shamer, according to The Daily Mail.
Another wrote:
“Am I the only one who thinks that this is abuse?”

Kylie appears to be unaffected by the criticism, joining her best friend Stassie for a wild Halloween weekend.
The pair dressed up as Britney Spears and Madonna – specifically from their performance at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards.
Kylie and Stassie even reenacted their famous onstage kiss in a video posted to Kylie’s Instagram story.
