KISSFM radio host Kyle Sandilands has revealed the unlikely friendship he has with controversial politician, Pauline Hanson.
The radio shock jock opened up about the relationship on his morning breakfast show, stating that the One Nation leader gave him a ‘quick call’ right before he was about to walk the ARIA red carpet with girlfriend, Imogen Anthony.
In an interview with TheFix, the 45-year-old revealed how their unexpected friendship blossomed: the senator called him out of the blue after he made some comments about her on the radio – and the rest is history.
‘She groused at me for being a bit cheeky with her on the radio. Since then we’ve been pretty close,’ he said.
Sandilands added he liked that she had the ‘balls’ to confront him.
Whilst the details of the comments are unknown, Hansen has appeared on the Kyle and Jackie O Show multiple times this year.
