He’s no stranger to making outlandish statements on-air, but Kyle Sandilands may have taken his role as shock jock a little too far this time.
On Thursday the radio show host offended listeners while pressing Tim Robards for details about his sex life during filming on The Bachelor.
“If I was on The Bachelor, I’d pound all those chicks on there,” he confessed.
Obviously uncomfortable with the conversation, Tim steered the topic to the US version of the series which he admitted was much more risqué than his own.
“And what’s wrong with that?” Kyle quizzed. “Why didn’t you guys do that?”
“At the end of the day you’re going to have to explain that to your missus,” Tim hit back.
“But they’re on a plate!” Kyle continued. “How do you knock that back?”
Avoiding the question, Tim confessed that he remained celibate for three months as the show was in production before revealing that he and Anna Heinrich “took the plunge” within “minutes” of the star being chosen as the winner.
