TV favourite David Koch has today lashed out at outlandish allegations about the Sunrise team that appeared this week in an Australian publication – labelling the fanciful report a ‘total and utter fabrication.’
Dismissing the publication’s claims of trouble on the show as pure fiction, the popular star was happy to set the record straight.
‘Fake news at its worst,’ he wrote on his Instagram account, next to an image of the story concerned. ‘Can I be any clearer?’
The star was also happy to set the record straight about the hugely-popular show’s great ratings, writing, ‘Thanks to the loyalty of our viewers @sunriseon7 been Australia’s #1 breakfast program for 13 consecutive years… because it’s a team effort.
‘It’s an honour to be part of it. I honestly love working with them all.’
