Kim Kardashian-West has always been supportive of her former-stepfather Caitlyn Jenner, however the Keeping Up With The Kardashian‘s star has just admitted she is not seeing eye to eye with the ex-olympian.
While appearing on The View, Kardashian was questioned about her relationship with Caitlyn, particularly after Caitlyn published a new book which slammed Kim’s mother Kris Jenner.
The hosts asked her if Jenner’s tell-all book The Secrets Of My Life was difficult to read and Kardashian didn’t hesitate as she admitted: “I definitely got upset about it.”
The View hosts also asked if Caitlyn made any story lines up to create a reaction surrounding the book.
“I don’t want to discredit her account,” said Kardashian. However she did add that she and her sisters were ‘all there’ and saw what happened and perhaps Caitlyn experienced things differently.
Kardashian then revealed she has not been communicating with Jenner lately. “Have I talked to her in the past couple of months? No. We’re not the kind of family… we’re taking a break. We have siblings. It will work out.”
Despite the current tension between them, Kardashian went on to say that she appreciates the role Jenner has played in her life.
“She will always be my stepdad and be a person who raised me and stepped up to the plate and raised me after my father died,” said Kim.
