Major congratulations are in order for Kim and Kanye!
According to Hollywood Life, the reality TV star and her rapper beau are preparing to welcome twins to the world via a surrogate.
A trusted source tells the publication the couple are over the moon to expand their brood after a serious health issue left Kim unable to conceive a third child.
“Kim and Kanye are excited and happy as they are expecting twins with the help of a surrogate,” the long-time friend of the Kardashians shared.
“It’s very early on in the pregnancy so it will be a while before they make anything public.”
A second insider confirmed the news, adding that Kim and Kanye will be thrilled to steal back the spotlight from Beyoncé and Jay-Z.
“Kim and Kanye want two more kids and were inspired Jay-Z and Beyoncé,” the source revealed.
“Kim is very familiar with a big family and wants to make her immediate family bigger, and now is the time.”
This comes just days after PEOPLE revealed the pair are set to pay the unnamed surrogate AU$59,000 in $5,900 monthly installments and a further $6500 for carrying an extra child.
The surrogate is also expected to received compensation of $6,500 if any complications arise that result in the loss of her reproductive organs.
While the mother-of-two has only recently opened up about her diagnosis with placenta accreta and her desperate desire to give her daughter North, 4, and son Saint, 17-months, a sibling, a source close to the family told Radar it’s been a long time coming.
“Kim has made it clear she will pretty much pay anything for another baby,” the insider said.
“In addition to offering their surrogate a six-figure deal, they will also make sure she has full security and benefits and that she is spoiled and pampered the entire time!”
