Khloe Kardashian has always tried to publicly laugh off stories that OJ Simpson was her real father – however a new report in US Star magazine claims she’s been secretly calling him on a weekly basis during his incarceration.
A source at Nevada’s Lovelock Correctional Center claims that Khloe would secretly call OJ “at least once a week” and, during one call, overheard a “screaming” Khloe begging OJ to take a DNA test to prove whether she is his daughter.
Now the disgraced footballer, who’s been serving nine years of a 33-year sentence, was granted parole and will be released in October, Khloe wants answers. “Khloe is ready to have the paternity question answered,” a family insider told Star. “And, above all, to have a father figure in her life.”
Dad Robert Kardashian, who defended OJ against 1994 murder charges against him, died in 2003 and her stepdad Bruce Jenner has undergone a gender transition. “Given all the background between her mom Kris and OJ, he could certainly fill the father figure role for Khloe,” says Star’s insider.
Khloe’s mom Kris has long been suspected of having an affair with OJ, who was a regular in their social circles. “Many people close to the Kardashians have felt for years that Khloe looked far more like OJ’s daughter Sydney than her own sisters.”
Two of her late father’s wives, Jan Ashley and Ellen Kardashian, have both claimed that Robert had questioned whether Khloe was his biological daughter.
“Now that he’ll be a free man, it’s like fate stepped in to make it easier for them to reconnect. She’d be filled with forgiveness should he turn out to be her real dad!”
