Khloe Kardashian has opened up about her tumultuous marriage with former NBA star Lamar Odom, revealing that she lied to him about wanting to start a family.
In a teaser for an upcoming episode of E!’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the 32-year-old pays a visit to a fertility specialist to find out whether she can be a surrogate for her older sister Kim.

But when the doctor asks if the reality TV star has ever attempted to get pregnant, she admits she only “fake tried.”
“I was married but I knew the circumstances weren’t the healthiest, so I just kept pretending I was doing it.”
In an emotional confessional, Khloe then explains that her rocky relationship with 37-year-old Odom – which was plagued by cheating and drug scandals – left her thinking it was the right thing to do at the time.
“When I was doing my fertility treatments, they were more so for Lamar,” she says.
“I had to stop because there was much deeper stuff that was happening in our marriage. I knew wasn’t the right situation to bring a child into.”

Khloe also confesses she frequently had to “cover up” for her ex in the past, adding: “But I was fine taking on that burden on my shoulders because he had a lot of other deeper s*** to deal with.”
The couple married in 2009 after just one month of dating.
After a drawn-out split, they officially signed divorce papers in June 2016.
