Kerri-Anne’s joy: ‘He’s home!’

Why the couple are finally smiling again.

When Kerri-Anne Kennerley’s beloved husband John suffered a horror accident that left him close to death and a quadriplegic in March, the doctors said he had a slow, painful recovery ahead of him.

‘It’ll be a year before you know what he’ll be left with,’ Kerri- Anne revealed doctors told her
at the time – adding that a full recovery ‘would be a miracle’.

But now it seems her prayers have been answered, with news that John will be heading home to live with Kerri-Anne in the next two months.

The joyous news comes despite doctor’s predictions that John, 75, would spend at least a year in hospital after suffering devastating injuries in a freak fall – and friends say the miraculous recovery is all down to Kerri-Anne’s unwavering love and support.

‘They say love conquers all – and Kerri-Anne and John are proof of that,’ a friend tells New Idea.
