With both stars rising through the ranks of Australian TV in the late ’60s and early ’70s, Kerri-Anne Kennerley and Paul Hogan’s paths have crossed many times over the years. And now, the duo’s shared history is proving to be a rock-solid foundation for a renewed friendship.
Bumping into each other recently at the AACTA Awards in Sydney, it wasn’t long before the pair were spotted together again. Filming an interview together, onlookers say the long-time pals were relaxed
and happy as they caught up on the balcony of a Sydney hotel.
‘They were clearly enjoying each other’s company,’ an onlooker tells New Idea. ‘Hoges must have been in fine form because KAK couldn’t wipe the smile off her face.’
Indeed, smiles have been few and far between for both Kerri-Anne, 63, and Hoges, 77, in recent years, with both going through their share of turmoil.
