Whether or not you’re a fan of tattoos, it’s pretty obvious where Kim Kardashian stands on the matter, and for a while, her younger half-sister and fellow Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Kendall Jenner was all set to adopt the same policy.
“I have a really weird thing about ‘forever’”, Jenner said in an interview with Allure in 2015, also expressing her belief that remaining a blank canvas would make her job as a model easier. Her problem with the permanency of tattoos was apparently quickly forgotten however when that same year, the socialite got her first two of three total tattoos.
Kendall Jenner Tattoo #1 and #2
Kendall and BFF Hailey Baldwin (now Hailer Bieber) sealed their friendship with matching broken heart designs on the inside of their left middle fingers, with Jenner’s being white and Hailey opting for a red outline.
“I really like tattoos,” Jenner explains in a post on her blog. “Right now I have two: They’re both in white ink on my two middle fingers. The one on my right hand is a full heart to represent an angel and my left is a broken heart –kind of like the devil side.” We wonder what the red broken heart tattoo means to Hailey!
In the explanation Kendall gave of the tiny finger tattoo, she also mentioned that she “definitely [wanted] more eventually” but “ [didn’t] have anything in mind” just then.
Kendall Jenner Tattoo #3
Jenner’s tattoo artist, Jon Boy from West 4 Tattoo in NYC, inked her with a ‘blink and you miss it’ simple white dot. Jon Boy explained why it’s white: “To her, it’s the little things that matter. The white colour was because she didn’t want it to show with modelling (sic) and all that. It was a fun night.”

Jenner supported her own claims a year later in July of 2016 when she got a second tattoo, one that she regretted: the word ‘meow’ tattooed on the inside of her bottom lip.
As she revealed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she had gotten drunk with friends the night before and “was not thinking”. She tried to explain her thought process behind the tattoo nonetheless.“[Meow] was literally the first thing that came to my mind… my drunk thoughts. I feel like it would have been a good place to put a boyfriend’s name. It’s just fattiness or is it muscle… bone hurts really bad.”
At the time, she was quoted as saying “I just wanted to be able to say that I have a tattoo ‘on my face!’ At least she can admit that getting this tattoo while drunk wasn’t her finest moment!
The Kendall and Kylie Jenner Tattoo That Almost Came To Be
When Kendall was 16 years old and Kylie was 14, the two had plans for some matching ink. The pair flew to Las Vegas to get a tattoo of ‘vous êtes belle’, French for ‘you are beautiful’, but the teenagers backed out of the procedure last minute.
Kylie now has multiple small, subtle tattoos a bit like her sister’s on her body, including a dainty little red heart on the back of her arm that closely resembles Kendall and Hailey’s.
