Nicole Kidman spilled that it took her now-husband Keith Urban four months before he could pluck up the courage to call her!
The stars met in 2005 at a G’Day USA event when Nicole was recently single.
The Lion actress says although she had a huge crush on the country singer, she didn’t think he reciprocated those feelings.
“Well we met and that night – the craziest thing is to have a photo of when you first met. Someone just took that photo and sent it to us but I remember thinking I had such a crush on him, and he wasn’t interested in me,” she told Ellen DeGeneres.
A shocked Ellen responded: “How is that possible? And did he explain why he didn’t? He must have just been shy, he must have been overwhelmed with emotion.”
Nicole said she hasn’t broached the topic since they got together.
“There’s certain things, and I think anyone in a marriage would agree with this, you just don’t, just leave that. We’re here now and it’s all good. We don’t need to hash up all that stuff right? So I should just shut my mouth,” she replied.
Keith and Nicole recently celebrated their 10 year wedding anniversary. The pair have two children together, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. Nicole also shares two adopted kids, Isabella and Connor, with her ex-husband Tom Cruise.
