Keith Urban is moving heaven and earth to secure a heartfelt present for his wife, Nicole Kidman.
Real-estate sources in Hawaii are whispering that the country star, 49, is trying to purchase the Oahu home she lived in until she was four, when her family moved to Australia.
‘Nicole has shown Keith the house and told him it brings back special memories of her father, who passed away two years ago,’ a source tells US magazine Star. ‘Being able to go back whenever she wants would mean the world to her, so Keith is determined to make it happen.’
The Honolulu-born 49-year-old has such strong ties to the American state that she was even given the Islander nickname of Hokulani.
‘It means Heavenly Star,’ she says. ‘That’s something no-one really knows. Well, Keith knows it. He calls me Hokulani sometimes.’
