Katherine Heigl has introduced her son Son Joshua Bishop and he’s adorable!
Heigl, 38, and her husband, musician Josh Kelley, 37, welcomed Joshua Jr. on Dec. 20.
“It was a surprise! I knew I wanted to expand our family, I knew I wanted to have more children,” she tells PEOPLE. “I just didn’t know how we were going to go about that.”
Katherine confirmed in June she was pregnant, confessing she was battling food cravings.
‘[I’m] trying really hard to stop [eating junk food],’ she told ET.
‘If I’m not on set, I don’t think about them that much. And I don’t eat them because they’re not around. But on set, crafty always has a plethora of doughnuts in really pretty pink boxes, and I can’t stop thinking about them.’
Heigl and singer Kelley, 36, who met in 2005 and tied the knot in December 2007, celebrated their nature-themed baby shower.
The Grey’s Anatomy star shared details of the event on her blog.
“I headed straight to Pinterest to cultivate a look for the shower that spoke to not only the holidays, but also our mountain home in Utah where the baby will be born,” Heigl, 38, wrote in a post about the sweet event.
“I loved that my mum involved me and that I got to contribute my ideas. I’m kind of a control freak on occasion … okay, more often than not, so getting to have a voice when it came to the shower was pretty awesome for me!”
Heigl and Kelley have two adopted daughters together, Naleigh and Adalaide.
