American actress Katherine Marie Heigl has announced she is pregnant with a boy.
Sharing a picture of her ultrasound on Instagram, the Knocked Up star, wrote ‘@joshbkelley and I have some news…go to thoseheavenlydays.com and I’ll tell you alllllll about it!’
Revealing more on her blog, Those Heavenly Days, Heigl, 37, said, ‘We are expecting a third addition to our tribe! It was totally unexpected but thrilling nonetheless.’
‘Naleigh and Adalaide are over the moon and can not wait to spoil their new sibling rotten and of course Josh and I are full of high hopes and bubbling anticipation.’
The actress added that she wasn’t sure pregnancy would even be ‘in the cards.’
‘The whole pregnancy thing is new to me but the thrill of having a baby is not….I wasn’t sure pregnancy was even in the cards for us. Turns out it was very much in the cards!’
Heigl married husband Josh Kelley, 36, in 2007.
The pair adopted their two children Naleigh Moon, 7, and Adalaide Marie Hope, in 2009 and 2012, respectively.
