Long before she was a Duchess, Kate Middleton was given a rather more erm, interesting name!
Visiting her old school, St Andrews in Pangbourne, Berkshire, the usually private Duchess told pupils a sweet anecdote about her nickname during her time at the school.
Speaking about the school guinea pigs, Kate said: ‘There was one called Pip and one called Squeak, so my sister was called Pip and I was Squeak.’
Kate’s not the only Royal family member with a cute nickname – the Duke of Edinburgh reportedly calls the Queen ‘Sausage’.
During a day out at the Chelsea Flower Show 2016, Prince William and Kate were overheard referring to each other as ‘darling’ and ‘babe’.
The news comes as yesterday, the Duchess visited a sailing event for children at Docklands Sailing and Watersports Centre in London.
Sticking to the day’s theme, Kate sported a pair of nautical-inspired J. Crew trousers and shoes with a white Zara blazer.
