When it comes to spending the festive season with family, it’s a common question posed by many married couples – which set of in-laws to spend Christmas Day with?
And just because Kate Middleton and Prince William are members of the royal family, it doesn’t mean they don’t have the same problems as us regular folk!
This year, Kate has won the battle. According to reports, the Duchess has decided that she, William and their two children, George, three and Charlotte, 19-months will spend Christmas Day in private with her family.
Shunning, the traditional royal celebrations at the Queen’s Sandringham estate in Norfolk, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will instead stay at the Middleton’s family home in Bucklebury, Berkshire.
This will be the second time Kate has overruled her grandmother-in-law – also choosing to spend Christmas Day with her family back in 2012.
Lets hope the Queen isn’t too offended!
