Kate looks great in 12-year-old boots

The Duchess is having the time of her life in Canada

Duchess Kate may be a fashion icon, but she believes in recycling! During an outing to an indigenous community in Canada, she wore the same pair of $800 boots she loved to wear when she first met her husband, Prince William.

Visiting the island community of Bella Bella, the due seemed to be having the time of their lives, despite the less than sunny weather. Kate kept her feet dry in the Penelope Chilvers boots, which she was often photographed wearing in her earlier years dating the Prince.

Otherwise, the Duchess was dressed in Zara jeans and a jacket from Holland and Holland.

‘It’s great to see the Duchess wearing the first boots we made for her in 2004 – 10 years on,’ Chilvers told People. ‘The boots only get better with age. She looks fabulous in them.’
