The trio showed off their competitive sides as they took to Olympic park to raise funds for the Heads Together organisation alongside 150 runners training for the London Marathon. The royals have long supported the group which promotes awareness of mental health.

Onlookers watched on as Harry, 32, passed Wills and Kate to win the 50-metre event, but only after some unsportsmanlike behaviour from the famous couple.

It was clear the 35-year-old mother-of-two was the fastest off the mark but her head start was quickly stilted by her husband who stuck his arm out to stop his athletic wife from winning the race.
