Any self-respecting Offspring fan is still reeling over the death of Patrick (Matt Le Nevez) almost four years on.
But Kat Stewart has revealed the shocking news that there was almost another surprise death on the hit show.
‘When I found out I was pregnant with my son, I offered to die,’ Kat, who plays Billie Proudman, told Hamish & Andy on their radio show this week.
‘Because I found out it fell in the middle of the third series.
‘I said, “I’ll understand if you kill me. I’m so sorry”.’
According to the 44-year-old mum of two, the stars of Offspring never know what the writers have in stall for them.
‘We genuinely don’t know what they’re going to do to us,’ she confessed.
‘It’s usually fairly humiliating and sometimes mortifying.
‘I think the writers and the producers really love tormenting us!’
